You can manage triggers in three ways:
- Console: Best for getting started and inspecting your triggers.
- API: Programmatically manage triggers using the Trigger API.
- AI agent: Ask your AI to manage triggers for you with the Maton Skill.
Creating a trigger
Open the Triggers page in Maton, click New at the top right, and select the source you want.
Choose the connection to watch and fill in any source-specific parameters.
Add destinations where events should be delivered. If you prefer to poll, remove all destinations.
Review all trigger details, then click Create.
Viewing triggers
The Triggers page lists all of your triggers, displaying their name, source, event type, and status.
Click a trigger to view its details including status, parameters, destinations, and recent events.
Updating a trigger
Open a trigger and edit its name, parameters, status, or destinations.
Deleting a trigger
Click on the vertical dots at the right end of its row and select Delete.
