You can manage connections in three ways:
- Console: Best for getting started and inspecting your connections.
- API: Programmatically manage connections using the Connection API.
- AI agent: Ask your AI to manage connections for you with the Maton Skill.
Creating a connection
Open the Connections page in Maton, click New at the top right, search for the app you want to connect, and click + Connect.
In the pop-up, click Connect, sign in to your account, and complete authorization.
Viewing connections
The Connections page lists all of your connections, displaying their app name, method, and status.
Deleting a connection
Click on the vertical dots at the right end of its row and select Delete. To delete several at once, tick the checkbox at the left end of each row, then click Delete at the top right.
Deleting is a sensitive operation so you will need to verify your identity with a one-time passcode sent to your email.
Common Questions
Credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit following best security practices. We perform periodic system audits, rotate service credentials, and monitor for anomalies.
No. Maton only stores your credentials and injects them when forwarding your requests.
Yes. Deleting a connection permanently removes the stored credentials for that connection in our system. If you need access again, create a new connection and connect your account.
