Maton

Time

time is a built-in source that fires events on a schedule you define. Unlike every other source, it watches no external account, so a trigger whose source is time needs no connection — just a cron schedule.

Use it to run recurring work through the same trigger and destination machinery as any other event: poll the Events API on a schedule, or deliver each tick to your webhook endpoints.

Maton Events

Create a trigger with source set to time and the event type below, then read the events it captures or deliver them to your endpoint.

Parameters

  • cron_expression (string, required): A 5-field cron expression (minute hour day-of-month month day-of-week) defining when the trigger fires (e.g. 0 9 * * 1 for 09:00 every Monday).
  • timezone (string, optional): An IANA timezone name the schedule is evaluated in (e.g. America/New_York). Defaults to UTC.
